Served two terms on Prairie View City Council (2020–2024)

Testified before multiple Texas State Legislative Committees
Appeared before the Texas House Committee on Redistricting to oppose efforts that would dilute community representation.
Worked w/ Council and EDC on Starbucks and Plaza Center
Participated in legal efforts to protect Prairie View students’ voting rights
In 2023, when policies were introduced in the city that he believed would weaken transparency and diminish resident influence, Nathan spearheaded a quorum break to prevent rushed decisions without proper public input.
For Nathan, that moment was about principle — ensuring that backroom decisions have no place in city business.
His record reflects a clear pattern: when representation, fairness, and transparency are on the line, he stands firm.
